Krizzy Crochets
Human and pet portraits, and landscapes on cardigans, bags and tapestries, created by hand.

How
HOW ARE THESE PIECES MADE?These pieces are thoughtfully made by hand (she took her time). The stitch used on the portrait is C2C or Corner to Corner.Creation usually lasts months depending on the type of project.
WHAT
WHAT TYPES OF YARNS ARE USED IN THESE PIECES?Yarns used for cardigans are fine cotton, while indophil and nylon yarns are used for bags and tapestries. I am slowly transitioning to have them fully in fine cotton. All are locally sourced, from La Trinidad, Benguet.

Process

1. I edit the photos on my free Canva account.I DO NOT use AI.

2. I upload the final image on Stitch Fiddle and generate the pattern. The first generated pattern is not final. I make some tweaks and adjustments on colors and on the image itself. This process is longer for portraits.
3. I begin working on the project as soon as the pattern is finalized. This can last for months depending on the scale of the project.

4. Once done... Photoshoot and Social Upload!

The final output of each project is placed in a personalized box, recycled from paper bags and cardboard boxes.Everything is gifted to family and friends.
Doing this all for fun
These pieces are not for sale. I crochet for gifting purposes only. Yes, I'm NOT PAID TO MAKE THESE.
Friends and family are willing to pay for my work, but I insist they only pay for the yarn I use.

About Krizzy
Hi! I’m Krizzy and I’ve been a crocheter since 2020.
Yes, like a lot of us, I started during THAT year, in lockdown.
It helped me so much in terms of self-expression and mental health.
I’m keen to share more of my works in this space.
